Re: Can last year student of B.Tech degree apply for Combined Graduate Level test?
Yes, candidates who are pursuing their final year are certainly eligible to appear in CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Examination which is conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year. Generally, SSC releases notification in the month of February/ March every year and considers the candidate's educational qualification as on 1st August of the conduct of Examination. So SSC CGL 2016 notification will be released in the month of February (probably in second week of Feb) and considers educational qualification as on August 2016. Since you are a final year candidate, you will complete your studies by April or May of 2016 and have the pass certificates by August 2016. This is the reason why Final year Graduates are eligible for appearing in CGL Examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission.
