Sir, my brother is studying in Gujarat, Vapi. He is in 12th. He wants to attend CET of Karnataka. But he has not studied in Karnataka by his father had studied in Karnataka. Can be eligible for CET?

Sorry to inform you that your brother is not eligible to apply for KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test).
According to the rule a candidate, who have studied and passed in one or more government recognized educational institution of Karnataka state for a minimum period of 7 years, is eligible for KCET examination.

Yes, he is eligible for CET exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks with PCB from a recognized board are eligible for CET exam.

Your age should be in between 16 to 25 years.

No, your brother cannot apply for Karnataka CET after studying in Gujarat. Only candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a Karnataka board are eligible to appear in Karnataka CET examination. Since, your brother has passed 12th standard from Gujarat, he is not eligible to apply for Karnataka CET examination.
