I have just completed my 12th Science with Biology group. So, I want to ask that I am eligible for B.Sc(IT) course? Kindly let me know about this.

Don't worry, many of my friends are doing B.Sc. in IT, who had Biology in their 12th standard. The basic criteria of admission in B.Sc in IT is to pass your 12th standard with minimum 60% in aggregate. If you obtain around 60% or more marks then you will be eligible to take up forms from a particular college in B.Sc. IT subject.

After that an initial scrutinization will be done. After this initial scrutinization the principal and his governing body will select a bunch of candidates who will appear for an admission test on a stipulated date. The admission test is particular to the college that you will apply. So you will not get any stipulated format for that. Mostly, questions are asked from basic computer science knowledge and mathematics subject. If you clear the examination then your name will come in the merit list of the B.Sc. IT admission process.

Normally, you must study maths at class XII level to become eligible for admission in B.Sc IT course. If you are pure biology with no maths at class 12th level then it will be difficult to get admission because you doesn't meet the eligibility criteria.

Admission on most of the colleges is based on entrance exam conducted by the university. Therefore, apply only when you meet the eligibility criteria.
