As far as my knowledge is concerned, "Aeronautical Engineering" is the best course among Mechatronics Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Aeronautics Engineering. You may find employment opportunities in,
> Helicopter Organizations > NASA > Airlines and Air Force > Defence Ministry > Corporate Research Companies > Aviation Companies After completion of academics, you may find employment opportunities in DRDO, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Civil Aviation Deparmtnet, Indian Space Research Organization, Air India for several posts as Aerospace Design Checker, Mechanical Design Engineers, Aerospace Technologist, Thermal Design Engineers, Aircraft Product Manager and as Graduate Engineer Trainees. Although other streams are good, the best course is Aeronautical Engineering as far as the scope is concerned. |

Those who completed their B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineer can find job opportunity in any one of the reputed companies such as, Aeronautical Development Establishment, Air India Aircraft Manufacturers, Civil Aviation Department etc. Those who completed their B.Tech in Mechanics can work as a Research Analyst/Specialist in Space Research organizations like ISRO, VSSC, etc. Those who completed their B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering can find job opportunity in any one of the reputed companies such as, GPSC, ONGC, HPCL and BPCL etc. Choosing the right course is not an easy decision. The basic priority of selecting the right course should be to consider your interest area rather than going behind other factors. |

Re: Which Engineering stream should I opt for admission among Aeronautics, Mechatronics and Petroleum?
My suggestion to you is that you should go for that particular stream in which you have your personal interest. Never go for scope only. However all three aeronautics, mechatronics and petroleum have good scope in the market. So you can pursue your engineering in any of your interested stream.
In Aeronautic engineering, you will study about design and manufacturing of air crafts, rockets etc. In mechatronics you will learn about mechanical and electronics sector. In petroleum engineering you will learn about the petroleum products, refining, properties of fuels etc. |
