B.Tech holders in CSE can find excellent job opportunities in both the Government and private sectors as well. Recently PSU like BSNL, Mecon Limited, GAIL, etc has specified GATE as the criteria for selection. So, If you have qualified in the GATE entrance exam then you can directly appear for Interview.


Apart from this you can also find job opportunities in Banking sector as an IT Officer and Specialist Officer. You can also find job opportunities in defence sectors, by qualifying in CDSE exam, Once you have qualified in Written exam and Physical test, you can get in to the Officer level profiles in technical cadre.

BSNL often recruits B. Tech holders of the job position of Junior Telecom Officer.

After 3rd years of your B.Tech degree, you are not eligible for Jobs but after completion of 4th year, you can apply government and private sector both.
