Hi Sir, I am Reshma. I have finished my 2nd year degree in KSOU university. Now I want to complete my 3rd year degree, but KSOU is in blacklisted now. I am not getting admission in other college if like this then is my 2 year degree is waste?

No, KSOU (Karnataka State Open University) is not blacklisted by UGC (University Grant Commission).
Karnataka State Open University is approved by University Grant Commission and by DEC (Distance Education Council)
KSOU is also affiliated by AIU, ACU, AAOU, COL.
Below I have attached the approval letter of KSOU by UGC.

However technical degree course from KSOU is not valid as because KSOU is not recognized by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).
Technical degree course from any open university is not approved by AICTE.

KSOU can offer only those degrees, which are not technical. If they are offering B.Tech or any other AICTE approved degree, then it will not be valid.

Hence, make sure you are not pursuing B.Tech or any engineering course from KSOU, which is purely an open university.
