Is studying Physics in B.Sc has wide scope than studying Mathematics?


Sir,
Can you please tell me if I take
Mathematics honours in my B.Sc then
I have a good scope? I am interested in
Mathematics but I think Physics has a good
scope. Please tell me is it true?

Both the subjects has their own value and scope in their respective field.

If you see overall mathematics have more scope than physics.
In terms of government job opportunities mathematics provide more job vacancies.

But if you want to work in research field then then physics is best for you.

There is nothing such as good among the two, either of the two has its own advantages and career prospects.

You can build a good career even after completing B.Sc in Physics or in Mathematics, as both have almost equal career scopes.

However, it is advisable if you opt for B.Sc in Mathematics as you seem to be quite interested in Mathematics and if you are good at Maths, then do go for it, and if not then you can opt for either of the two.
