Respected Sir, I am Ajay Kr. Pal, 5th semester electrical and electronics engineering student. I am interested in doing internship program in steel plant. Please tell me the procedure. Thanks

Being a student of 5th semester (electronics and electrical engineering), you are eligible to apply for internship in steel plants.

Here is the procedure that you have to follow:

First of all you have to contact the training and placement cell of your college. Get a permission letter from them stating that you want to do internship and the area of your training. Also get a NOC from them.

After that prepare a detailed resume, attach the relevant documents, the letter and send them to the HR department of the company. If you have any contact in the company who can refer you for the internship, then it will beneficial for you because, most of the companies prefers candidates who gets in through a reference. As a result, you will get the internship very easily if you have a reference.

If your resume gets selected then you will receive an acknowledgement letter from the company, you have to get it signed by the HOD or principal of your college attach the NOC and send them again to the authorities of the comapny. After a short period of time you will be called for interview for the selection process and hence, after clearing the interview you can start your training.
