if you have completed diploma/ B.E/ B.Tech of 2 semester then you can apply for internship in any companies. I have listed some companies name which are good for mechanical engineering.

The companies which offer internship opportunities to mechanical engineering candidates are:

- PSUs
- Power Plants
- Steel Plants
- Indian Railways
- Metro Railways
- Construction plants
- Manufacturing plants

The procedure of application depends on the company in which you are applying. Some have online provision of application while for some you need to approach their HR department. Some visit certain list of colleges to recruit interns while some recruit only through referral of its employees. The eligibility criteria too differs from organization to organization and the applicants. Usually they give preference to referred candidates, candidates from Tier-1 institutes of the country and candidates having good CGPA.
