It is difficult to say exact salary of mechanical engineer. Salary varies from company to company and also varies as per your experience. However being a fresh mechanical engineer, you can expect average salary of 20,000 rupees per month.
There are many core companies in which you can apply for the job when there is any vacancy. Some of the good companies for you are Tata motors, Hero cycles, Swaraj automobiles, Ashok Leyland, BHEL, NRL, Nepa Limited etc. My suggestion to you is that you should perform regular check up for these vacancies. You can check the vacancies on the official websites or in the employment news.
