I had two backlogs (passive, now) in my first and second semesters of UG which I cleared. I had no backlogs thereafter until my 6th semester, after MS can i do phd or this backlog will affect me?

If you have cleared all the backlogs, then there is no problem. If you are still entangled in those backlogs, then it might create problem during admission.

The admission into Ph.D course is mainly based on the Master's Degree and you must have at least 55% marks in your post graduation because most of the top universities ask for this percentage criteria.

So, if you have any live backlogs, then try to clear them as soon as possible because it will create problem during Ph.D admission as they will demand an original Degree not a provisional degree.
