I have done BA,MA with Hindi and also Done my B.Ed. But I wish to do PHD with English so that I have passed MA with English through IGNOU university. So is it valid if I apply for PHD with English? And can I apply for Teacher Grade I job? Or is there any other Certificate course like BEd which I have to do to with English so that My MA English degree will be valid and I can allowed to be a Grade I (Higher Secondary school )Teacher.?

You can do PhD in English after completion of MA English. Candidates with Master’s Degree in English with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university can apply for PhD in English. There shall be an entrance test for all the candidates to pursue PhD in English. The short listed candidates have to appear for an interview conducted by the university. Candidates who have already qualified NET/SET/M.Phil shall be exempted from the entrance test. The PhD course is useful for you to pursue your career in teaching profession.

I am sorry to say that you cannot apply for PhD course with English as you have done your Master's degree course with Hindi as a subject. Candidates those have completed their Master's degree in their relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply for PhD course.

Yes, you can pursue the PhD course. Those candidates who want to pursue the PhD course must have scored a minimum of 55% in their Master's degree and have successfully passed the national level exam like CSIR/UGC-NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE. Thsoe candidates who are awaiting for their final year exam results can also apply.

If you have got MA English degree with at least 55% marks, then surely you will be eligible for Ph.D in English programme. Post graduation in the given subject it needed for Ph.D in the same subject.

Admission will be on the basis of performance in the entrance exam and interview conducted by the university.

You have completed M.A in English from IGNOU so you are eligible for Ph.D course in English.

IGNOU is a recognized University.

But your masters degree marks must be above 55%. There are no age criteria.

I am really confused ! About which field should i choose after B.A .. Actually i wanted to do LLB but i don't know whether it will be the best choice .. So please somebody tell me what's best to do After completion of B.A but i really want to Study Laws
