Can OBC students get admission in NIT with 316 score and AIR 2719?
Sir,
I have got a GATE score of 316 and AIR 2719. I am from OBC category. Please let me know if i can get into NIT? |

If you are looking for admission in popular streams then you have very little chance of getting admission in NITs. This score would have got you admission if you belong to SC/ST category. With OBC category is it be a bit difficult to get admission in NIT if we go by the previous cut off for various streams admission.
The cut off is lowest for not so popular streams for which not many students opt. Hence, it will depend on the stream in which you want admission. Therefore, be prepared for counselling. |
