CSIR NET eligibility for OBC students with 50% marks in graduation?
I ama OBC student. I scored 50% marks in my graduation. I ant to know whether I am eligible for the CSIR NET examination in future? if not I can repeat my graduation.

CSIR stands for Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. Eligibility criteria for CSIR National Eligibility Test:
1. Minimum academic qualification required for NET is master's degree. 2. Percentage of marks required to apply for NET is 55% for general candidates and 50% for OBC candidates. You are not eligible for NET exam after bachelor's degree. To apply for this exam, you must pursue master's degree and score 50% being OBC candidate. |

CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria for OBC candidates:
No, I am really sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear in CSIR NET Examination. The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for appear in CSIR NET Examination is as follows. >> Candidates must have completed M.Sc or its equivalent degree or BS/ BS-MS or B.E/ B.Tech or MBBS/ B.Pharm with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. >> Minimum Percentage Required: * For General and OBC-Non Creamy Layer Candidates - 55% marks * For SC/ ST/ Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates - 50% marks As you belong to OBC category, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear in CSIR NET Examination. |

Eligibility for CSIR : Must have degree in B. Pharma, B.E., B.tech., or M.sc., or MBBS or integrated BS-MS or any any other science degree with minimum 55%...relaxation for reserve candidate sc/st, obc.. |
