The interested candidates can apply online for the PhD Entrance Test (PET). Those who have completed Master’s Degree in Education (M.Ed) with at least 55% marks are eligible for the PhD Education in Mumbai University. The selection will be done on the basis of performance in the PET and Interview. The candidates who completed M.Phil (Education), NET/ SET are exempted from the PET. If you are interested to apply for PhD in Education course through Mumbai university, then you must crack the admission test conducted by the Mumbai University. The candidate who has already qualified in NET/ SET is exempted from the exam conducted by the Mumbai University.

All applicants applying for PhD in Education through Mumbai university must fulfill the following criteria:

- Educational Qualification: Those who have passed Master Degree with 55% of marks or will appear for the final semester examinations are eligible to apply.

- Age Limit: There is no age limit needed for PhD course.
