No, there is no entrance test conducted by HPU for admission of students for PhD in Biotechnology. The admission is usually done on the basis of applications which involves the research expertise of the students and the discipline of interest. Students who have qualified NET-JRF/ Inspire/ Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship/ DBT/ ICMR/ DRDO Fellowship/ SLET and the candidates who were admitted to M.Phil. Program through Entrance
Test and have undertaken course work during M.Phil. shall be admitted to the Ph.D. program directly.
