In which exam to appear for PhD? What is the purpose of GATE and NET?
I have done my mtech IT ,,,,, i want to opt for phd,,,, i have a doubt for which exam i need to appear to opt for phd??? plz tell what is the purpose of GATE and NET for phd ??? ,,, plz tell in detail

Candidates those who have qualified exams like GATE/NET/JRF/SET are exempted from any other Ph.D entrance exam for admission. Hence, the best option for you will be to crack any one of these exams.
If you can't crack these exams then it will be difficult to get admission in a top government university for Ph.D programme. You will be left with private universities who conduct their own entrance exam. |
