I don't think india is a super power in any respect. our most of the population are poor and are struggling to get their food requirement.about 48% of our population is illitrate . we are lacking in so many fields .we are forced to take lone from international bank. so how can anyone say that india is a super power.

1) super power is afraid of Indians top class brains and dedicated hard work they are taking preventive measures like outsourcing bills and all so they are afraid of us because we are going to the top of the world.

2)countries like pakistan are very much afraid of us they are very jealous about our country that they cant come directly attack the country with their army force they are supporting some terrorist organisation doing all indirect attacks on us this is because they are afraid and jealous about our super natural status across the world

3)china is also sending signals to army force they are going to soon attack on us for the reason we are the only competors to them

5)with out our permission nothing can be done in international summits like G20 the best example is this years summit

6)rapid increase in gdp also deciding us as super power across the world

7) the perfect functioning of ACB(anti corruption beauro) also deciding our countries future so we are getting uncorrupt officers .by this indirectly we are making our country strong
8)increasing literacy rate making country strong

9)technically india is improving its standards so in this way also its growing its wings

10)The most interesting thing is the youth of the india is very much concerned with its prestige so many of the people like us are making india a very strong country ..by this india became super power among the world and will keep the status with it

one more thing the u.s president barack obama he himself agreed india as a super power in his visit to india

I voted for yes because though it is not counted or included in super power countries yet but this is due to only poetics otherwise today India has each and every thing to pass in test that it is or it may be included in association which is known as world super country association .

Yes, it is a superpower now. India has a better railway and high way systems than china. When the population of india is bigger than china, her GDP will be bigger than china, no doubt about that.

I think yes India is a super power because of it's influence over the world business and due to the ever increasing number of companies coming to India for their establishment and expansion. So, surely India is a super power .

5) We do not succumb to under national pressure and do not in any way reduce our defense, nuclear and missile capacities.
6) We concentrate on our efforts to establish cooperation and working relation with all our neighboring countries.

India’s aspiration to great power status is logical and legitimate in terms of its geo-strategic, demographic, ideological and social cultural characteristics. Super power status is a possibility for India. Today is definitely India’s moment - a moment when the country can grasp and forge a new path for itself.

NO....at present i don't think that India is super power because to be super power you need have great impact in the world like what USA has..
first of all India need be the permanent member of United nations security council...India need to spread its trade to all the nations of the world and the rupee value has to come up...the IT sector has to grow...the GDP has to grow...poverty has to be eliminated..corruption should end....fair election should be held....there is lot India need to do at present be a super power....but definite India can become one day and that day is not that far away if we all the youths of India work towards it from now on.......

Yes! yes India is a super power as its a independent country and has no foreign interference.We have our own rights and can make decisions.We don't have to depend on any thing on others.We are self sufficient in terms of any thing.We have good defense forces for which we don't have to worry to any invasions and have unity amongst us.India is a well developed country and can compete with other foreign country in any terms,therefore i fully support that India is a super power country.

In spite of having a lot of resources, india do not use these resources and hence ,it is still a developing county. In my view india should use all the latest technology to become a super power.
