Re: Is india a super power?
The answer is as simple as it is; India is a super power which is also termed by many nations and even Barak obama’s US. There are so many reasons for it. I will be discussing some of the reasons with you .
• Firstly the demand for the Indian students across different countries is well known. • Secondly, the Indian army is considered among the best 3 in the world. • Thirdly, the Indian tycoon like ambani’s, mittal’s are giving a tight competition to world’s richest persons. • Actually the main reason that is democracy and the system in India. in spite of many malpractices , this is something we should be proud of . |

Re: Is india a super power?
India has the capacity to become super power one day or the other. As it is prospering, have many nuclear and atomic weapons, scientists and knowledge all in one country.
so, India can become super power. |

Re: Is india a super power?
It can only happen when the government encourages it, rather than draining the people with UN privatized banks and things like that...
China will never be a world power unless it increases its freedoms. Same with other countries. Any poor country has a super-rich government. The US risked allowing the citizens to conduct business the way they want, and it all came back to the government eventually. So the government and the people are rich. |

Re: Is india a super power?
India is not super power today. But it has all qualifications to become a super power. We all know most of our Indians are below poverty line. With the help of government, rich people turn to be more rich. Because of these poor people turn to be more poor.
India can become super power in future if government works for society, not for individual. And government officers can works honestly without corrupted. |

Re: Is india a super power?
India has once again grown to become an influential country in the world. I don't know if I would consider them a super power, especially when comparing their military power to countries that are considered to be super powers. They have, however, managed to grow significantly in a number of different fields. For example, Bollywood produces and releases hundreds of movies a year compared to Hollywood which only produces a fraction of the number of movies produced in India. India has also grown to become one of the top ten medicinal leaders in the world. They have also developed one of the largest precious metals markets in the world. Are they a super power? I don't know about that, but the reality is that India has grown economically to the point where they have influence on the world economy.
