B.Tech in CSE holder can do M.Sc in Mathematics? Can I go for PhD or Lecturer job in Mathematics after the same?


Sir, I have done B.Tech in CSE, and now I want to know that can i go for M.Sc in Mathematics? If yes then after M.Sc...can i go for PhD for the same or Lecturer job in Mathematics?

You have completed B.Tech in CSE, so you are not eligible for M.Sc in Mathematics.

Those candidates who have completed B.Sc degree in Mathematics or Statistics from a recognized University are eligible for M.Sc in Mathematics.

If you have M.Sc in Mathematics degree, then you are eligible for Ph.D course. Also you can apply for lecturer post in Mathematics.
