Can I get admission to study M.Tech in IISC if secured less than 50% in B.E. and ranked under top 10 in GATE? How the percentage will be calculated for backlog candidate?
Respected Sir,
What is the cutoff percentage in B.E. for doing M.Tech in IISC? How this cutoff percentage is calculated if I had any backlogs the new marks or old marks? If my AIR is within top ten in GATE and below 50% marks in B.E. Can I get in IISC? |

First of all you need 60% marks in B.E for becoming eligible for GATE. With 50% marks you can't apply for it and if you have backlog then you have to get a letter from college to confirm that you will pass and score 60% marks.
If you fail to clear backlogs then you won't get admission in M.Tech even if you qualify GATE. Also, your GATE score will be void if you don't have 60% marks in B.E degree. |
