I'm doin B.Tech and i've applied for GATE... Am quite confident tat i'll be a GATE scorer and be eligible to get Stipend... and my question is Will i be eligible to get the stipend if i do PG in correspondence in Anna university... pls guide me

If you do PG in correspondence you will not get Stipend . It is offered to the people who qualified in GATE.

I have not received my Gate stipend though i qualified. can you help me to get any information on this issue like
1) to whom to contact for equerries?
2) how to get assistance throgh RTI.

Here u didnt specify ur branch example .EEE or IT etc....
Regarding your seat,Before admission we are not sure to say anythink about admission in anna university.
If u scored in EEE branch then 100 percentage u have a chance for M.E admission in anna university coz of ur community.
If you scored in any other dpt like ECE or CSE u have a option to get seat in anna university but not sure.
anyhow u get a ME admission in Anna univ or PSG coimbatore.
Note : If u r a mech candidate and u plan to choice M.E admission in PSG.
THEN U JUST TAKE ANY SPECIALIZATION EXCEPT PDC AND Production..MY FRIENDS EXPERINECD A LOT....
these dpts are very very worst dpt(FACULTY) in psg.They dont treat you as a mtech student...very very bad approch(only for these two specialization).
i am also a gate qualified candidate in 20_ _ and 2012.
I got my post graduation from psg.

No Dear

There is no such scheme for the students who will persui M.Tech in Correspondence.

According to UGC norms, the stipend is given to every student

having a satisfactory performance in academics.

Also if you give 8 hours a week for research or teaching stuff

So if you persui M.Tech in correspondence then you cannot take part in research and teaching stuffs.

For that reason, you can get stipend in Correspondence in M.Tech

I have One doubt , can we do ME/MTECH in correspondence through Gate Marks.
Please let me know. I know through Gate we can do ME in full time. But I want to know can we do in correspondence. So how much year it will take and which university is best. please suggest me something good guys.
