I have done my B.Com degree at MKU and want to do Dietician and nutrition course and practice as a Dietician. Tell me, am I eligible for this course. Let me know please.

Yes, you can pursue dietician course after B.Com. Diet and nutrition course is mainly based on science subjects. As you have studied commerce, it is very difficult to study any master degree course in the dietician and nutrition field. Therefore, you can study certificate or diploma course in Diet and Nutrition. Following courses are available for the B.Com candidates;

Sorry, you can't get admission for Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with your B.Com degree.

Eligibility criteria for pursuing Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics Course :-

-The candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines:

* B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subject ,

* B.Sc. in Agriculture ,

* B.Sc. with Home Science with elective in food nutrition ,

* B.Sc. in Fishery ,

* B.Tech. in food technology ,

* B.E. in chemical engineering/agriculture engineering ,

-The candidate must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level .

Sorry to inform you that you are not eligible to pursue Dietetics and Nutrition course as because you have completed you bachelor degree in commerce stream and to become a dietician, a candidate should have studied home science or dietetics and nutrition, food science/technology courses at the graduate and postgraduate levels.
In order to pursue bachelor degree course in Dietetics and Nutrition, a candidate should have passed 12th standard or its equivalent examination in science subjects covering physics, chemistry, home science and biology from a recognized board.

Yes, you can pursue dietitian and nutrition course after completion of Bachelor of commerce course. There are several courses in dietitian and nutrition field, they are

>> PG Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics

>> B.Sc in Food Science and Nutrition

>> M.Sc in Nutrition

In general, candidates from
* Home Science,
* Chemistry,
* Microbiology,
* Hotel Management and
* Medicine background are eligible to pursue this Post graduate diploma course.

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, you are eligible to pursue this course in Dietitian and Nutrition course.

You have completed B.Com degree so you are eligible for graduation degree in Dietician and nutrition course.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized a board are eligible for graduation degree in Dietician and nutrition course.

Sorry, you should have bachelor degree in technical field like BSC. I have also done BCOM and right now doing MBA.
