Sir, I have completed my M.Sc. Mathematics course from a reputed university by distance mode in session 2010-2012. Sir I want to confirm this degree is valid or not for government job in Haryana. Thanking you.

If your distance mode degree is approved by UGC DEC, then you will be definitely eligible for government jobs on Haryana. Just make sure there is no requirement of only regular degrees for the job.

Also, if the given job wants AICTE approved degrees, then a distance mode degree will not be valid for such government jobs.

First of all you have not mentioned the name of the university, so it is very difficult for me to tell you that the degree is valid or not. But, keep one thing in mind if a distance education institute is recognized and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and DEC (Distance Education Council) then the degrees and certificates received from there will also be valid for all types of private and government jobs.

Yes, distance mode certificate are valid and candidates can appear in entrance examination to get government jobs.

So, you can appear in entrance examination and after qualifying in entrance examination will become eligible for recruitment in government jobs in Central or State service.

But, the certificate must be offered by a recognised university of UGC.
