I want to pursue a post graduation in Cytology, and I am a graduate in life sciences and a qualified lab technician. Presently working in a government set up. Kindly guide me about the same.

You can apply for admission on an application, when there is a notification announced by the concerned university. Selection will be on the basis of performance in the entrance exam.

There are many universities in India, offering such degree course. Just make sure you apply on time and also be prepared for written exam.

Candidate for Postgraduate degree in cytology is a branch of science which deals with the study of cell and it’s behavior to find out the disease. Duration of post graduate diploma in cytology is one year. Minimum qualification required to apply is M.B.B.S.

Syllabus for Cytology:-

:- Cytology and clinical pathology.

:- Haematology.

:- Biochemistry.

:- Microbiology.

:- Systematic of cytology.
