Is maths compulsory upto 12th for MCA? Any additional course for becoming eligible for MCA?
Hi,
I am going to complete my T.Y.B.Com. & I am willing to go for MCA. But when I checked criteria I found that Maths is compulsory at least up to 10+2. I have done it up to 10th only. Is there any additional course which will allow me for MCA? Thanks. Sunil Mumbai |

Yes, for MCA maths is compulsory at 10+2 or degree level. If you haven't studied maths then you have very little chance of getting admission in an reputed university.
There isn't any additional course because they ask for 10+2 only and you can't change your choice of subjects now. |

Yes, mathematics is compulsory for MCA entrance exam.
MCA stands for Master in Computer Application. If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with above 60% marks then you are eligible for MCA admission but Mathematics subject is compulsory in your throughout studies. |
