I am from Commerce stream and my optional subject is Computer Application. But due to some reasons I was not able to score good marks in 12th Board exams. To get admission in IIM for MBA is my only dream. I have got admission in a distance BBA(H). So, I am eligible to achieve my dream?

You can get admission in MBA course in IIM but you should scored good in CAT entrance exam.

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. CAT examination is conducted by IIM's every year for admission in IIM and top level MBA colleges.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with above 50% marks are eligible for CAT exam. For SC/ST candidates the percentage is 45 % in graduation. There is no age limitation for the candidates. Final year student are also eligible for CAT exam.

Pattern for CAT exam:-

1.Data Interpretation.
2.Quantitative Aptitude.
3.Logical Reasoning.
4.Verbal Ability.

Yes, distance mode graduation is accepted everywhere in India. The most important thing will be your score in exams like CAT/GMAT if you are looking for admission in IIT for your MBA degree.

Therefore, don't worry about your distance mode degree because it is surely valid for appearing in any MBA entrance exam if you fulfill the percentage criteria.
