Is there any 2 year LLB programme after PG degree?

I heard that after PG, there is 2 year programme for LLB, we don't need to take admission in 3 year LLB programme if we have PG degree. Is it true?

No, there are only 5 year LLB course and 3 year LLB course. The eligibility to study the 5 year LLB course will be a pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks. The graduates (like BA or B.Com or BBA or B.Sc) in any discipline with at least 50% marks are eligible for the 3 year LLB course. There is no such law graduation course with two years duration. So if you want to study law graduation after completion of post graduation, you can choose the LLB course with three years duration. The admission to the course will be done through an entrance examination conducted by the university. The courses are available in various law colleges in India.

I am sorry to say but a recognized LLB degree always lasts for 3 years. The minimum eligibility criteria for the course is a graduate degree with a minimum of 45% in it from a recognized university.
This criteria remains even if you are a post graduate. The percentage considered even after your PG degree will be that of graduation.
Also, there might be a lot of institutes willing to offer a LLB course for 2 years, but none of these are recognized. Also, you will not be passed by the Bar Council of India, thereby meaning that you will never be able to practice in the court of law.

No, it is not true and totally absurd. LLB stands for Bachelor of Legislative Law and it is minimum of three year duration course.

So, if you have passed your post graduation in any discipline then you can take admission in course.

Candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance examination or have to come under merit list to get the admission. The master degree course is of two year which candidates are eligible to pursue only after LLB.

I am sorry to say that there is no such provision of two years LLB course after the completion of Post Graduate course.
The duration of the LLB course is of 3 years.
Candidates those who have completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% of marks in it are eligible to opt for the 3 years LLB course.
