Whether percentage criteria for CAT qualifiers varies for different colleges?
Friends,
Is the minimum percentage i.e., 50% in CAT for all the institutions in India or is it different for different colleges like 60% or 65% for candidates in Hyderabad? |

Quote:
Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with above 50% marks are eligible for CAT exam. For SC/ST candidates the percentage is 45 % in graduation. There is no age limitation for the candidates. Final year student are also eligible for CAT exam. |

If the institute is accepting CAT scores then 50% marks is the minimum criteria. There is no variation among colleges for admission through CAT. Only your percentile score in CAT should be good.
If you are confused between graduation percentage and CAT percentile then you must clear it. Only a decent percentile in CAT is required. |

Re: Whether percentage criteria for CAT qualifiers varies for different colleges?
The minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Graduation from a recognised university is required only to be eligible to appear in CAT examination. Admission in MBA course in different colleges are offered through CAT score but, some colleges ask for minimum aggregate of 70% marks whereas some colleges ask for minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Graduation from a recognised university. The percentage required to get admission in MBA course for CAT qualifiers varies for different colleges.
