How much money is required to become an astronomer?


Hello Sir , I'm Zaid Sheikh and my dream is to become an astronaut for NASA. I am an Indian. What is the procedure to become an astronomer? Sir, please tell me in astronomer study like aerospace engineering, astrophysics and astronomy, how much money is required? I belong to a middle class family. Also, in 10th standard, what percentage is required in also in 12th standard.

In order to become astronomer, you need to study astronomy as a subject in your higher education.
once after completion of your astronomy course, you need to take or write thesis under some experienced astronomy professor who must have minimum of 10+ year in astronomy as a subject.

Tuition fee depends on the institute as well as college from where you are studying. So, different institute has different tuition fee.

You must have more than 70% in your 10th as well as 12th.
