I want to know information about merchant navy because a selection letter from İPSR come at my residence.

So, tell me this job is government or private.?

Merchant navy is government as well as private so your job can be private as well as government.

One can choose Government Sector i.e SCI, IPSR etc. and can also choose Private Sectors like Anglo Eastern, Wallem etc.

IPSR Maritime is a unit of a government registered society PEASSS (Regd). So your job is government.

You can join Merchant Navy, and a basic educational qualification required is 12th class. So as you have completed 12th class, you can apply for NDA examination in order to join Merchant Navy. NDA examination is mainly conducted for admission into several wings such as Air Force Wing, Army Wing of NDA, and Naval wings. For Naval Wings of NDA, candidates must have passed 12th class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education with Physics and Mathematics, or equivalent educational course.

Selection Process: Written Examination and SSB Interview


Only those who qualify written examination are called for interview.
