I am doing software engineering(B.Tech in I.T).I want to join defence job.Can I join this? Is it possible for me continue a career in defence for female being a software engineer? What are the steps I need to take for the same? Can you please guide me on the same?

Yes, you can join defense irrespective of being an employee in software firm.
And gender don't make much difference in the defense field.
Steps you need to follow to apply for the defense are mentioned below:

1. You must be below 25 to be eligible to apply for the defense.
2. You must have 60% throughout your academic degree course.
3. You must be medically fit.

** If you follow these points then you can appear for the entrance and if you qualify
the entrance then you are in defense.
