Selection procedure in HCL Technologies off-campus interview?


Hello
i want to attend a off-campus drive
about HCL Technologies company,
so will you please tell me about the
interview process for selection?

HCL is an IT organization which offer various IT services as HCL is sub divided into two organizations as HCL infosystems and HCL Technologies.

Eligibility Criteria:


1) Must be B.Tech, B.E, B.Sc, B.com, MCA, MBA Graduate with 65% in their academic years.
2) Must have Good Communication skills written and verbal.
3) Must not have any backlogs.

Selection Procedure:


Round 1 : JAM session
Round 2 : Aptitude & Quantitative Test
Round 3 : Group Discussion
Round 4 : Technical Interview
Round 5 : HR-Interview

Here is the recruitment procedure for HCL off-campus,

Written Test.
Technical Round.
Group Discussion and
HR Interview.

Written Test:

In this round, you will be given a paper and you are supposed to answer them in time. Prepare the following topics for written test.

Quantitative Aptitude.
Logical Reasoning.
English Comprehension.
Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning.

Tips for written test:

Practise topics wise.
Solve questions from previous papers after completing every topic.
Do more mock tests.
Prepare timetable and follow it.
Make note of important points.

Technical Round:

In this round, you will be tested in your core subjects. Be prepared with your core subjects and try to answer most of the technical questions. Cover all technical subjects from 1st year to final year.

Group Discussion:

In this round, candidates are divided in to groups and are given a topic. Each group has to support their statements. Prepare well with some sample topics daily and try to speak out yourself. Also know about some trending topics.

Some of the GD topics are:

Which is better to join? An MNC or a start up?
Should we make everything a technology based?
What is the position of India in world regarding technology?
Do you need to make any changes in Indian education system?

HR Interview:

In this round, you will be tested in,

Problem Solving Skills.
Time Management Skills.
Logical Thinking.
How do you handle situations when you are under pressure?

Here are some interview questions,

What extracurricular activities were you involved in?
What activities did you enjoy the most?
Tell me about a deadline you had to meet. How much advance notice did you have?
What kinds of decisions are most difficult for you?
What is the most difficult work situation you have faced?
Are your grades a good measure of your ability?
Give me an example of a problem you've had at school and how you solved it.
What qualifications do you have beyond academics that qualify you to make a successful transition into business?

Tips to prepare for interview:

Know your resume very well.
Be ready to answer about anything asked which you have mentioned in resume.
Prepare more and more mock interviews.
Make an eye contact with the interviewer.
Do not argue with the interviewer.
Maintain grooming standards before going for an interview.
Know about the company and role you have applied for beforehand.
