Re: What is Just A Minute round? How to prepare for it?
Just a minute generally referred as JAM session which means the candidate has to speak out on the given topic within one minute of time.
In some of the interviews the candidate can choose his/ her own topic or the interviewer will pose a topic to speak. Generally, JAM session is conducted to test the fluency of English. It plays a key role in selection process. Much preparation will not be required for JAM, just read the newspaper daily and try to make conversation with your friends in English only. |

Re: What is Just A Minute round? How to prepare for it?
Just a minute round is nothing but a minute session where the interviewer will probably ask you to speak on a particular topic provided by him or you yourself will be asked to pick up a topic of your choice and speak upon it. By, the time you speak, the interviewer will probably observe your accent, grammar, pronunciation and the formation of sentence by you.
Below, I have mentioned some of the tips to clear JAM effectively, kindly have a look at it; > Try to keep your sentences as short as possible. > Try avoiding long and complex sentences, a it will create a problem for you only. > Be simple, use simple English and try not to stammer in nervousness. > Keep yourself prepared with some topics from home itself. Try all the above mentioned steps and I am sure you will clear it in the first shot itself. |
