How to get admission in 2nd standard in Don Bosco School of Kolkata? I am planning for admission of my son in 2nd standard in Don Bosco School. Can you please provide me the procedure?

Don Bosco School, Park Circus , Kolkata is one of the premier institution of the city. It is a Christian minority school. Since it is one of the oldest and renowned one, competition level is very high. Admission forms are no longer distributed manually but are put up in the schools own website. Notification regarding admission is made in the month of August and forms are distributed in the month of September. Eligibility and other procedures will remain notified in the admission form.Admission in Don Bosco starts from class KG at the age of 5. Around 225 students are taken in such class. Admission in class 2 takes place only when there is a vacancy of seat. So you ha e to keep this in mind that the seat/ vacancy in class 2 may or may not be there. Do don't stick to one option, keep other options in hand.

First of all your child should be atleast the age of 3 years and 6 months and should be atleast having the very basic knowledge of talking to someone in a proper manner.

Now, the admission procedure is nothing such in Don Bosco for a student in class 2, they basically take an interview of the candidate along with their parents to check the family background and the child's ability and after having cleared the rounds your child will probably get admission in 2nd standard.
