I am a student of NIOS Board. I want to join Indian Navy. But I have heard that I cannot able to apply for Indian Navy as I am studying with NIOS Board. Is it true? I am studying in 12th NIOS right now.

Yes you are eligible for each and every entrance test whose eligibility is 12th passed from any recognized school or board because NIOS (National institute of Open Schooling) is recognized board. the truth is that NIOS board is not reputed board atleast in India but it is Recognized via Government of India, So in that manner you are eligible for the desired test

No, NIOS student are not eligible for Indian Navy through NDA exam.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years.

Written examination will be divided into 2 parts-

Mathematics-300 marks.
General ability Test- 600 marks.

Total time duration for 2 papers is 300 mins

General Ability Test -

English 200 marks
General Knowledge 400 marks

It is not true that as being a NIOS student you can not apply for Indian Navy. NIOS is a highly reputed and recognized board. You can easily apply for NDA as being NIOS to join Indian Navy. NIOS is an Open schooling Board that's why people think it has less value which is not true in reality.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. NDA has three wings Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air Force. NDA entrance exam is conducted by those students who want to join any one of them Indian Navy, Indian Army or Indian Air Force.

NDA Eligibility criteria is as follows-
Your age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.
You must be an Indian Citizen.
You must have 12th passed candidate.

Sir am completed open inter buu my aim indian navy.any chance to join indian Navy with open inter qualification. Sir please give me answer fastly.
