As you want to know about the procedure of polytechnics, so here I am providing you the complete procedure for getting admission in Polytechnic course. Polytechnic is also known as Diploma course. For getting admission on the basis of 10th, you must have to clear JET (Joint Entrance Test) of your state. JET is a type of Diploma Entrance Test which will make you eligible for taking admission in any Diploma course. But, for appearing in the JEt you must fulfill its eligibility conditions.

Eligibility Conditions for JET:

>You must have completed your 10th from a recognized Education Board.
>You must have completed your 10th with English, Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects.
>You must have completed your 10th with minimum ##%marks.

On the basis of your JET rank, the better college you will get, as reputed Polytechnic Colleges have high cut-off ranks.

Important Dates for JET:

>Availability of Applications forms: April - May
>Exam Month: June
>Result of Jet: July
>Admissions on the basis of JET rank: August

There is no exact dates for JET, because every State conducts its separate JET. You can check the exact dates for JET of your state by visiting the official website of your State's State Board of Technical Education.

To do polytechnic course after completion of your 10th standard, you need to appear in Diploma entrance examination conducted by your respective state entrance examinations board. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in first year of three years Diploma course. For appearing in Diploma entrance examination, you need to apply when the notification for entrance examination is released.

* For doing diploma in your state you have to appear in the entrance exam conducted by your state .
1) Before that you need to fill the application form with your details mandatory .
2) Details like your 10th hall ticket number and your name should be same as that in 10th . After submission of application form within few days you will receive your hall ticket .
3) you can fill through online mode also
there you will get registration number
with the help of that you can download hall ticket and take print out of it.
4) This is the procedure in filling the application form of diploma entrance exam.

* After the completion of exam
based on your marks they will allot rank .
And soon they will issue rank cards and they will release notifications for counselling .
* In counselling you need to brought your rank card, 10th mark list , other certificates like income , caste etc;
* There you to select colleges based on your rank through web options .
* Finally you will get information about in which college you secured seat.

If you want to do polytechnic from Delhi then after 10th exam you have to fill Delhi polytechnic examination form.after few days they will declare examination date if you will crack this exam you can take admissinon in Delhi polytechnic.

After 10th standard, you are eligible for Polytechnic course but you should qualify in Delhi CET exam.

Those candidates who have passed matriculation/10th with Mathematics, Physical Science & English from Central or State Board recognized by Govt are eligible for Delhi CET exam.

Your age should be below 21 years.

To pursue Polytechnic course after 10th from Delhi you have to apply for Delhi Polytechnic CET.
To apply for this exam candidate have to score atleast 50% marks in your 10th class.

You can get the application form from the directorate of technical education in Delhi. Candidate have to fill the form and submit it to the directorate of technical education in Delhi. Candidate have to appear for the exam and they will get admission on the basis of the rank.
