Re: Which board is better in terms of syllabus - CBSE or STATE BOARD?
Generally the syllabus of all the state boards and CBSE are same for the main subjects. This is because the syllabus for any competitive entrance examination are same for all the board of education.
But this is also true that CBSE has better recognization all around the world as compared to any state board. Also the quality of education provided by CBSE schools are more convenient over that provided by state boards. So overall it is good to get admitted in the CBSE school than State board schools if one can afford as the cost of education with CBSE is quite large than the cost of education with state board schools. |

Re: Which board is better in terms of syllabus - CBSE or STATE BOARD?
I always suggests peoples to choose CBSE board because its better than any other board atleast in india because its well known , reputed , popular. Its syllabus is better than any other board. Each national level entrance exam follows CBSE board. Two main papers in india AIPMT and AIEEE follow CBSE board syllabus as well as also conducts by CBSE board

Re: Which board is better in terms of syllabus - CBSE or STATE BOARD?
The main difference in terms of syllabus between CBSE or STATE BOARD as given below.
** Firstly state syllabus gives more importance to practical implication of related subjects ** Students of the CBSE have an advantage of the State as the syllabus of the CBSE will be the same all over the nation. STATE SYLLABUS ** State syllabus is dependent on the government of that particular State. For each state, a separate education board would be available CBSE SYLLABUS ** All schools in India ( Kendriya Vidyalaya ) are affiliated to the CBSE syllabus. ** The complete syllabus is separated into units. ** Each unit is then allotted a number of periods that are necessary to cover the portions of an academic year. AS per my knowledge CBSE board is too much better in comparison to State boar. |

Re: Which board is better in terms of syllabus - CBSE or STATE BOARD?
In terms of syllabus, CBSE board is far better than state board.
As, syllabus of CBSE is very useful in entrance exams and other competitive exams after 12th class. Most of the entrance exams have their syllabus derived from CBSE syllabus. JEE Main and JEE Advanced syllabus is completely derived from CBSE syllabus. Medical entrance exams like PMT, AIIMS entrance exam also have their syllabus based on CBSE. So, CBSE syllabus is very useful for any candidate for the preparation of these entrance and competitive exams. |

Re: Which board is better in terms of syllabus - CBSE or STATE BOARD?
I would refer you to go for CBSE board after the completion of your 10th boards as it would help your child to get much exposure in future because of it s education system and widely accepted pattern.
Moreover, maximum people tend to move towards CBSE board after 10tth because of he following two reasons; > The syllabus of entrance exams are at par with the syllabus laid down by CBSE. > English is easier and no compulsion of second language, hence more attention can be given to the core subjects. Therefore as you want to study B.Tech in future, I would suggest you to opt for CBSE board after 10th. |

Re: Which board is better in terms of syllabus - CBSE or STATE BOARD?
If we compare the syllabus of CBSE and State board , both have same syllabus but competitive exams are conducted by CBSE now a days hence it is more beneficial to do 11th and 12th with CBSE board as it give more idea about questions and pattern of question paper of CBSE . Otherwise it doesn't mean that you will not able to fight competitive exams if you done your 12th with state board . You have to make your concepts clear than you can crack the competitive exams also.

Re: Which board is better in terms of syllabus - CBSE or STATE BOARD?
CBSE Board is useful if the parents are on a transferable job as CBSE Board is recongnised all over india and has Kendriya vidyalata in almost all the states of the country.
Whereas, if parents are in a static job then they may opt for state board. both the boards are good and education level is satisfactory. |
