No, minimum marks or percentage is required to appear for the IIT-JEE examination. The only condition you have to satisfy to be eligible to appear for JEE Main examination is that you must have qualified 12th standard with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects from a recognised board. By qualifying the JEE Main examination and if you are in the top 1,50,000 rank of the JEE Main examination, you are eligible to appear for the JEE Advance examination

To be eligible for JEE Advance examination, you must have secured minimum 75% (70% for SC/ST) marks in your 12th standard from a recognised board or you must be in the top 20 percentile of the high scorers of your 12th state board examinations.

Thumbs up Re: Minimum marks required in 12th Bihar Board exam for IIT-JEE?

There is no minimum marks criteria in 12th to give IIT JEE Entrance examination, Just you need to qualify your 12th exam with subject Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics.

Other Criteria :

>> You must be passed your 12th examinations.
>> You have one more year after 12th to apply for JEE Entrance examination.

IIT JEE Exam is divided into two parts First one is JEE main and second one is JEE advance.

For JEE advance examination you must secure 75% in your 12th for general and OBC category and 70% for SC/ST

Good Luck..

The minimum requirement may vary depending on the individual eligibility criteria set by institutes that use JEE Main scores for admission.
