The minimum required aggregate to appear for medical entrance examination vary for different entrance examination.
As for AIPMT minimum required aggregate in 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English relaxation of 10% for reserved category. For AIIMS candidates passed 10+2 with minimum 60% are eligible to appear for examination where as for SC/ST minimum aggregate is 50%. For getting admission in any good medical college you should appear in AIPMT test.
Minimum criteria - You must have a 12th pass certificate or appearing in 12th class. For your kind information AIPMT paper follow CBSE syllabus and patter so, it's a plus point for CBSE students to score good marks as compared to any other state board student. So I prefer you to go for CBSE board. One more thing each and every national level exam follow CBSE syllabus in India. |

Many medical entrance examinations are conducted every year for admission in various colleges.
AIIMS(All India Institute of Medical Science) is the best colleges in India for MBBS and entrance conducted for admission in it is AIPMT. AIPMT stands for All India Pre Medical Test. It is conducted by CBSE every year in month of either April or May. Eligibility condition to appear in AIPMT are -Candidate must have completed Higher Secondary certificate examination from a recognized board with more than 50% marks in science stream with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. - Candidates appearing in 12th board examination with the same are also eligible to appear in the examination -Candidate must complete the age of 17 years on 31st December in the year of examination. You need not to worry about the minimum marks required to appear in examination as you should focus more on studies to study the syllabus smartly to score more marks in board examination as well as in entrance examination. Since, number of seats in medical college like AIIMS are very few and number of students is high, so, you need to labor hard and study very well to achieve success in the examination. |
