Possibility to join NDA for 10th CBSE failed candidate?
Sir
I have failed in 10th CBSE Board. I want to make my career in NDA. I want to know that how this is possible for me now? Please help me to know. Thank you! |

No, it is not possible to join in NDA without passing 10th standard. To be eligible to join in NDA, you must have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board and you need to appear in NDA examination. Eligibility criteria required to join in NDA examination is mentioned below :-
1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. You must be in between 12 1/2 to 19 years old. 3. You must have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board. 4. You must be an Unmarried Male candidate. 5. You must be Physically fit as per Physical standards mentioned in the UPSC NDA examination notification. Since, you have not qualified 10th standard and you have not pursued 12th standard, you are not eligible to join in NDA. |

Only 12th pass candidates can apply for NDA exams, so you are not eligible for NDA exams after failing 10th.
First of all you have to pass your 10th class and then 11th and 12th. Age limit : 16.5 to 19 years. For more details about NDA please visit : NDA |

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army. Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. |
