I would like to know if a student is 11 years old and studying in class 4th and qualifies final merit of entrance exam then will he be able to get admission in Purulia Sainik School in class 6th?

No, it is not possible to get admission in 6th standard of Purulia Sainik School on merit basis for 11 years old 4th standard student.

Candidate who have passed 5th class can appear in the entrance exam conducted by Sainik schools for the admission in 6th class.
Candidate must have passed 5th class from any recognised board.

Age of candidate must be from 10 to 12 years.

Sainik Schools are the best schools for the students up to higher secondary level.
To get admission in sainik school in 6th standard, students will have appear in entrance examination conducted by all the Sainik schools generally in the month of January.
The students qualify in entrance examination will have to appear in medical and interview then after final merit list is published for admission.
This is the only way to get admission in Sainik schools .
So, you will not be able to take admission on merit basis.
You need to go through all the test and qualify them to secure a seat in Sainik school.
