Scope of Arts, Science and Commerce? Which one to study in Higher Secondary?


Sir,
I am appearing in 10th Board exam of CBSE Board. I know there are 3 streams in Higher Secondary such as Science, Commerce and Arts. I want to know the different scopes of all these 3 different streams. And also tell me which is to opt in Higher Secondary.

You have to look for your own interest dear, as to where your interest lies upon.

If you are interested in Technical or Medical field than Science stream is the option for you.

If you are interested in Management field than you should go for Commerce stream and if you are inclined towards creative things and ideas than I would suggest you to go for Arts stream.

However, each stream has its own advantage, you cannot just compare the streams like that.

There are career opportunities in all the 3 streams.

Below I have mentioned the career opportunities in all the streams, kindly have a look at it.

Science is a vast field and different career options are available for students to choose from

Medical and engineering are two most popular and most sought career after class 12th science in India.

For those who have an interest in Biology and are looking forward to a career in Medical line can opt for courses like:

1. MBBS or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery

2. BDS (Bachelor of Dental surgery)

3. BAMS or Bachelor of Ayurveda medicine and surgery,

4. Physician,

5. Optometrists,

6. Dental Surgeon,

7. Pharmacists,

8. Nursing, etc.


For those who have an inclination towards Maths, Physics and chemistry can get into Engineering line. Many different choices are available in this field too like:

1. Mechanical

2. Civil

3. Aeronautical

4. Bio-Medical, Information Technology

5. Marine

6. Electronics and telecommunication, etc
