Respected Sir,
I am a class 10th student looking forward
to take Biology in class 11th.
Please guide me if I should apply for
Open School for classes in 11th?

You can apply to study 11th biology in Open school after completing 10th class.

You can apply for admission in NIOS ( National Institute of Open Schooling ).
To apply for NIOS just visit http://www.nios.ac.in/.

You can also pursue your 11th class from regular school from CBSE Board.
If you don't have any issue then I suggest you should do your 11th and 12th class from regular school because NIOS is not recognised by most of the Medical Colleges and Medical Entrance exams.
NIOS is recognised in non-medical field but in medical field it is not well recognised.

So, I suggest you to continue your studies with CBSE Board.

You also take the admission in the open board n the 11 th with biology subject. But open board is mainly for the board classes. Nd one problem in the open board that some open board certificate is not fully recognised nd specialy in medical field. Soo be care full.

I advice you that you doing your 11 in some regular school . Its helpful to you nd you also takes the biology as a additional subject..

Yes Dear, you can opt Biology as a subject in your 11th Grade. What you need to do is to obtain a very good marks in your 10th Board, since there is a huge rush in the Biology Stream. Even the cut off are very large. So, start preparing well for the 10th Board, you will be easily admitted in the 11th Grade once, you get good marks in your 10th grade.
