There is no particular course for banking that you can pursue.

And it doesn't matter as to which field you take up after 12th. You just have to prepare for banking sector jobs separately and for that you can surely join any coaching Institute if you want to prepare well for banking sector jobs.

Try to maintain 60% CGPA in your graduation to be eligible to sit for various bank related examinations.

You can choose any degree, in which you are interested. Because candidates who have completed their graduation in any stream are eligible to apply for bank jobs. After the completion of graduation, you can apply for banking exams like IBPS or other bank exams. If you can qualify in these exams, you can get a bank job.

Selection:-
Selection of candidates, is based on written test and Interview. Candidates who have qualified written test are only eligible for interview.

Exam Pattern:-
The written test is conducted in five sections
1. Reasoning - 40 marks
2. English language - 40 marks
3. Numerical Ability - 40 marks
4. General Awareness - 40 marks
5. computer Knowledge - 40 marks

If you want to work in Banking Sector you need to qualify Bank PO exams.
You can give Bank PO exam after 12th or Graduation.

You can do CFP (Certified Financial Planner) course to get job in Banking Sector.

You can do B.Com or BBA after your 12th examination as both are really good courses for going into the Banking Sector.

Cost depends on how you are studying. If you study without any coaching class, then cost would be less and it takes long time to complete the syllabus.
But if you join any coaching class, then to prepare for the Probationary Officer you must be paying around INR 12000 to 15000 and duration would be 3 to 4 months. There they will help you with lots of study materials.

There is no any specified stream for banking. You can pick any of the stream for bachelors degree. And yo can also join the institutes which are helpful in preparing for bank clerk or po exams.
