I gave my intermediate exam in 2010 and I got 57% in maths. Due to low marks, I gave exam again with the subject of arts in private in 2011 and I got 65%. Is this wrong. Give me advise. What should I do.

After completion of your 12th standard with Arts stream, you can pursue your higher studies in Bachelor's degree courses like B.A, B.A (Hons.), B.F.A, etc., of your interest. Admissions in Bachelor's degree courses are done through merit basis of 12th standard board examination marks or through entrance examination conducted conducted by the respective college/ university.

As you are done with 12th Class completion in 2011, you cannot continue regular studies with the criteria that is mentioned above as far as my best knowledge is concerned.

As you have successfully completed 12th Class with Arts stream, I would suggest you to go ahead pursuing further studies in distance or correspondence mode.

There are several colleges that are offering this Arts Graduation courses in correspondence mode. Some of the best courses after 12th Class in Arts stream are,

>> Bachelor of Business Administration

>> Bachelor of Fine Arts

>> Bachelor of Arts

>> Bachelor of Hotel Management..etc.,

There are many correspondence colleges that offering this BA course in distance mode. Hence I would suggest you to pursue in this mode for finding better career job opportunities after completion of studies.

Students after completion of 12th arts with a mathematics subject can pursue the following courses:

BA English
BA History
BA Hindi
BBA
BA Journalism and Mass Communication
BA Psychology
BSc Mathematics
BSc Statistics
Bachelor of Library Science
Bachelor of Hotel Management
Bachelor of Social Work
BA Political Science
BA Public Administration
Bachelor of Business Studies
Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management

There is absolutely nothing wrong in reappearing in class 12th exam in order to improve qualifying marks.
Since you are from Arts stream, so you can take admission in Bachelor of Arts discipline or you can take admission in Bachelor of Business Administrative also.
On the basis of your 12th standard qualification you can apply for various job in private as well as in government sectors.
You can apply for Job in bank for Clerical job. You can appear in SSC (CHSL), UPSC NDA, State Police Recruitment, Indian Railways Entrance exam, etc.

You can do following courses after 12th Arts with Maths :-

As you have completed your 12th with Arts stream but you have also studied mathematics hence you can join any of the given below courses to make your future bright:

Bachelor of Arts

Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication

Courses which you can join after completing your 12th standard with Arts stream:

Animation multimedia course.

Bachelor of journalism and Mass Communication.

If you have improved your marks, then surely it will be valid, if it is done from a recognized board of education. Just make sure that you have got it from a recognized place.

Therefore, no need to worry, just make sure that you apply for admission in such courses, which accepts your subject combination.

After completion of your 12th standard with Mathematics and if you have taken Arts examination as a subject in private then, you can pursue your higher studies in B.Sc., B.A, B.C.A, B.F.A, etc.,. Admissions in Bachelor's degree courses are done through merit basis of 12th standard board examination marks or through entrance examination conducted by the respective college/ university.

You can apply for the different courses according to your interest.
You can apply for following -
Bachelor of Arts.
Bachelor of Business Administration.
You can apply for LLB.

After completion of Graduation you can apply for government jobs as well as private jobs.

You have completed 12th standard with Arts stream so you are eligible for B.A course but you can't apply in regular course.
