Re: What is the procedure followed for getting MBBS admission in Karnataka after finishing high school with Canadian curriculam?
To get admission in MBBS course in Karnataka, students need to appear in KCET and on the basis of rank in KCET, colleges within the state provide admission.
KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test. Students need to have completed their higher secondary certificate examination with more than 60% marks from any recognized board having subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology. Also, the students must have studied and passed in one or more educational institute up to seven standard from 1 to 12th and must have appeared in 10th or 12th board examination from the institute within the state. If the student has completed their schooling outside of state but parents are native of Karnataka then the student has to go through native language test. |
