Sir,i want to know about the new question pattern of WBJEE engineering and when will COMMON ENTRANCE TEST apply instead of WBJEE to all over INDIA .If it will be applied then what is the procedure of exam ,selection and eligibity criteria .Please kindly reply.

WBJEEM : West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination

This is a common entrance test conducted for admissions into engineering & technology, agriculture, pharmacy, medical, dental and architecture courses in various colleges in West Bengal.

Pattern of Questions in WBJEE:

Questions will be in the form of multiple choice questions, for Engineering you will have to pass Mathematics exam which will carry 100 marks, Physics and Chemistry which will carry 100 marks combinedly. For Medical courses you should be qualified in Biological sciences, Physics and Chemistry.

Questions in Mathematics are divided into three categories viz. 1 mark questions, 2 mark questions and 2 marks questions, cat -1 will be of 60 questions, cat -2 and 3 will be of 20 questions each.
Questions in Biological Sciences are also divided into three categories viz. 1 mark questions, 2 mark questions and 2 marks quetions; cat-1 will be of 90 questions, cat-2 and 3 will be of 15 questions each.
Questions in Physics and Chemistry are also divided into three categories viz. 1 mark, 2 mark and 2 mark; cat-1 will be of 30 questions, cat -2 and 3 will be of 5 questions each.

Regarding all india entrance; No nothing like that. For admissions in West Bengal colleges it will be still dependent on WBJEE only. Eligibility criteria with respect to education are 10+2 pass from WBCHSE or any equivalent board.
