GRE exam is same for every candidate, irrespective of their academics. There is no change in the exam pattern, whether you are from electronics or other any courses.
The following are best books for GRE preparation
1)Manhattan 5lb
2)GRE Bible
3)Magoosh
4)ETS official Guide
5)Barron's GRE

Exam Pattern:-
GRE exam will be conducted for 340 marks. Each and every candidate, who attends the exam will be given 260 marks initially. And the exam will be conducted for remaining 80 marks.

The following are the sections in GRE exam
1)Quantitative Aptitude section - 40 marks
2)Verbal Reasoning section - 40 marks
3)AWA section(Analytical Writing Analysis) - 6 points
This section will not hold any marks.
