You need to score minimum 300 marks in GRE to get admission in good University.

Here is the pattern of GRE,

Verbal Reasoning:

2 Verbal reasoning sections with 20 Questions & 30 minutes per section. Score is based on the scale of 130 to 170, with 1 point increments.

Quantitative Reasoning:

2 Quantitative reasoning sections with 20 Questions & 35 minutes per section. Score is based on the scale of 130 to 170, with 1 point increments.

Analytical Writing:

Two Essays are given,

1. Issue-Task essay
2. Argument-Task essays

Both essays need to be completed in 30 minutes and score is based on the scale of 0-6 with half point increment.

The required GRE score to study abroad varies depending on the university, program, and competitiveness of the applicant pool. Each university and program may have its own specific minimum score requirements or average score ranges for admission consideration.

The GRE consists of three sections: Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning. The Analytical Writing section is scored on a scale of 0 to 6, while the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections are scored on a scale of 130 to 170. The scores from the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections are often combined to give the overall GRE score.

It's important to research the specific score requirements of the universities and programs you are interested in, as they may have different expectations based on their selectivity and the competitiveness of the applicant pool. Some universities may publish their minimum required GRE scores, while others may provide average scores of admitted students as a reference.

To study abroad, the required GRE score varies depending on the university, program, and country you are applying to. Different universities may have different minimum score requirements. Typically, a good GRE score is considered to be around 320 or above (out of 340) for the combined verbal reasoning and quantitative reasoning sections. However, some universities and programs may accept scores in the range of 300-310.

As for the pattern of the GRE exam, it consists of the following sections:

1. Verbal Reasoning: This section evaluates your reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical reasoning skills. It includes questions on text completion, sentence equivalence, and reading comprehension.

2. Quantitative Reasoning: This section assesses your mathematical and problem-solving abilities. It includes questions on arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis.

3. Analytical Writing: This section measures your ability to articulate complex ideas and support them with relevant examples. It consists of two essay tasks: "Issue Task" and "Argument Task."

The GRE is a computer-delivered test, and the order of the sections may vary. The test duration is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes, including breaks. It's essential to check the requirements of the specific universities and programs you are interested in for accurate score expectations.
